As a Security Officer - Office Complex Patrol, Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor key areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate observations clearly to your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas, assisting with visitor direction, key control processes as assigned, and/or checking credentials in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting observations, and/or coordinating with site management and public responders as directed.
• Complete timely reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident details, and noteworthy observations, using approved communication methods and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
