Security Officer - Utility Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer - Utility Mobile Driver in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor badging. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide clear communication and customer service while reporting concerns and partnering with site teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or authorization for entry, directing visitors and contractors to appropriate check-in processes and restricted-area requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required by post orders.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, documenting observations and maintenance or operational concerns noted during rounds.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
