As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet team members and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations using site tools and technology. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command and coordinating with local emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the distribution location, including perimeter, parking areas, dock doors, and trailer or yard areas, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter incidents.
  • Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor and vehicle entry, directing traffic flow, and maintaining accurate logs for deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity.
  • Complete daily reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to onsite personnel, and support security-related investigations by preserving information and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
