As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced telecom and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, assist with access points, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying designated contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, data and equipment areas, parking lots, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or badges, and directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors per site procedures.
• Complete routine reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2+ years of security experience.
• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
