As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and document activity while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and site staff, supporting a caring culture that puts people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and contractor requests, issuing temporary badges, and maintaining access logs.
• Screen vehicles and drivers at gates and/or checkpoints by confirming appointments and shipping documentation, directing traffic flow, and reporting irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications, and documentation of events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
