Security Officer - Retail Dispatch

As a Security Officer - Retail Dispatch in Mason, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location, you will help coordinate security-related responses, monitor cameras and alarms, track access control activity, and support officers in the field through clear radio and computer-based communication. You will be a calm, customer-focused point of contact, helping to deter incidents through timely information sharing and accurate documentation, while living our agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following site-specific security-related procedures, retail location policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring radios, phones, and/or CCTV systems, receiving calls for service, and coordinating responses with on-site personnel and local responders when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, documenting actions taken, and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, and perimeter, watching for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and reporting findings.
• Complete required security-related reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner, and communicate updates to client representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience - 6+ Months is required.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
