Collision Materials Manager
The Collision Program Manager oversees the end-to-end collision repair lifecycle for an autonomous vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles move efficiently from damage intake through repair and return-to-service. This role serves as the primary link between fleet operations, supply chain teams, and external collision partners to minimize downtime and control costs.
Scope
* Manage the full collision repair workflow from damage report to vehicle return.
* Act as the primary point of contact for external body shops, driving status updates and firm ETAs.
* Review and validate collision repair estimates, challenging unnecessary labor or parts.
* Manage swing units and rotable assemblies to support rapid repairs and reduce downtime.
* Place and track parts orders using SAP and automotive ordering systems.
* Coordinate kitting, packaging, and shipment of parts to collision vendors.
* Reconcile inventory movements in SAP and monitor supply chain risks related to backordered parts.
* Audit invoices and system data to ensure alignment with approved estimates and insurance requirements.
* Document workflows, develop SOPs, and support scaling into new markets.
Required
* Experience in automotive collision repair, estimating, claims, or body shop operations.
* Strong working knowledge of SAP for work orders, inventory, and purchase orders.
* Program management experience coordinating complex workflows and external vendors.
* High technical aptitude and ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing parts, costs, and timelines.
Pluses
* Familiarity with autonomous vehicle hardware such as sensors or compute modules.
* Experience with fleet management software.
* Experience managing swing unit or rotable parts programs.
Estimated Min Rate: $20.00
Estimated Max Rate: $30.00/hr +. Depends on work experience
