Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Doctoral degree (post-professional or DPT with advanced clinical specialization) Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a licensed physical therapist Teaching, research, or clinical experience in cardiopulmonary disorders, neurological disorders, and/or pathology Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and solve problems Contemporary, evidence-based clinical practice knowledge in cardiopulmonary, neurological, and/or acute care practice areas Experience designing and conducting independent or collaborative research in the area of clinical expertise Physical therapy license or license eligibility in Arkansas Preferred Qualifications: Advanced (non-clinical) Doctorate Established scholarly agenda Three (3) years of prior teaching experience in a physical therapy academic program Active involvement in professional activities at the local, state, or national level Key Responsibilities: Design and teach academic courses in areas of content expertise Engage in scholarly and service activities consistent with university, college, and CAPTE expectations Contribute to program and curriculum assessment and planning May perform duties as assigned Additional Information: About the Program Holistic admission process with 28 students admitted annually.
