We are looking for a Warehouse helper in our Branch office

Primary Objective:

This position is responsible for unloading trucks, pulling orders. Must be able to handle fast paced requirements of customer orders. Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and provide cycle counts on inventory on a regular basis. Demonstrates high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures proper rotation and maintenance of inventory
  • Assist with product returns, restock/re-inventory and disposal of product
  • Receives incoming shipments / unloading of trucks
  • Preparing orders for outgoing shipments / deliveries via FedEx and regular freight carriers
  • Pulling orders and assisting customers on will call desk
  • Load shipments on branch or customer trucks
  • Stocking inventory
  • Assist with Monthly Inventory
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Utilize pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility
  • Manufacture custom filters using a table saw, measuring tape, and simple stapling assembly
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse-sweep, trash, clean bathrooms weekly
  • Possess good communication and organization skills
  • Adhere to all safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Basic Math skills
  • Inventory control
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Forklift Experience
  • Attention to detail in a business environment.
  • Team focused, good coordination skills
  • Must be able to constantly lift 15 pounds overhead.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write and understand written and verbal instructions in English to include completion of daily paperwork and forms along with basic math skills.
