Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, greeting drivers and employees, verifying credentials, managing entry and exit points, and logging visitor and vehicle activity. You will remain visible, conduct routine rounds near access areas, respond to incidents, and provide clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or access points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and driver check-in and/or check-out, issuing credentials as directed, and maintaining access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity; and complete required written and/or electronic incident reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, dock areas, and perimeter; observe for policy violations or hazards; and report concerns to supervision per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
