Security Guard - Mall Perimeter Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Mall Perimeter Patrol Driver in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer in a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine, visible foot and vehicle patrols to help identify and report security-related concerns, assist with access control and incident response, and deliver customer service that supports a welcoming shopping experience. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and compliance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail or mall location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, back-of-house corridors, receiving areas, and exterior perimeter as permitted by site policy.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic zones for unusual activity, potential shoplifting behaviors, and/or policy violations, and report observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control, medical calls, and/or evacuations as directed by site procedures.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate hazards and/or maintenance concerns, and coordinate with store management and local public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
