You will help verify badges and credentials, log guests and deliveries, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents while providing top-tier customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service while carrying out site-specific access control procedures at an automotive location, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing visitors and deliveries.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by screening vehicles and pedestrians, maintaining logs, and monitoring alarms, cameras, and access control systems for security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues to report.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, access events, and incidents, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
