Job Description




As a Security Officer - Dispatch Coordinator in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Allied Universal Dispatch Officer, you will be the communication hub for a dynamic location, monitoring systems, coordinating officer response, and tracking security-related calls and incidents. You will help manage access control and badges, document key activity, and support a professional guest experience through clear, calm communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor dispatch communications and coordinate response to alarms, calls for service, and other incidents, documenting details per site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Use access control and visitor management procedures to help maintain authorized entry, including verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors.
  • Complete required logs and reports, including incident documentation, shift activity summaries, and follow-up notifications to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
