Security Officer - Plant Roving Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Plant Roving Patrol Driver in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will also complete required driving duties, so a valid driver's license is required under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and/or delivery information in accordance with site requirements and post orders.
• Complete detailed shift reports, patrol logs, and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
