Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring IT Engineer to Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Collaborate with IT team and Business team including architects, developers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web-based applications. Develop and maintain the front-end of applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python-based frameworks. Implement back-end functionality and database integration using Python. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver high-quality and reliable applications. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes. Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. Ensure seamless communication between the front-end and back-end components of applications. Utilize knowledge of computers and electronics, including circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment, as well as knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various company proprietary products.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: One (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires experience in the following:

  • HTML, CSS, or JavaScript;
  • Python-based frameworks (Django or Flask);
  • Back-end development with Python;
  • UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Angular;
  • Git;
  • Software debugging (macOS, Linux, or Unix);
  • Object Oriented design; and
  • Data structures.

Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.
