The PLS Project Manager I at Pace Analytical Life Sciences is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and closure of smaller-scale, less complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of clients and internal stakeholders. This role involves coordinating resources, managing communication, and monitoring project progress. Compensation: $60,000.00 - 65,000.00 per year Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the development of project plans, including scope definition, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation for assigned projects. * Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. * Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communication with clients and internal teams. * Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and proactively addressing issues to ensure timely completion. * Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps. * Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and organized. * Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items. * Collaborate with scientific and laboratory teams to ensure alignment of project activities with technical requirements. * Support the project close-out process, including archiving documentation and facilitating lessons learned sessions. * Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry) or a related field. * 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management within a scientific, laboratory, or technical environment. * Basic understanding of the drug development process and/or laboratory testing services is preferred. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management. * PMP or CAPM certification is a plus, but not required for this entry-level project management role.
