1st Shift - Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is a skilled-level role responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. This role requires minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting automation initiatives, and mentoring junior team members.

- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB) and automated equipment.
- Support integration of automation technologies including sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Perform diagnostics and calibration of robotic arms and vision systems.

- Install and maintain electrical panels, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Perform electrical safety checks and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.

- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Fabricate and install custom fixtures and tooling to support production.

- Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, and compressed air.
- Respond to maintenance requests from office and non-manufacturing areas.

- 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.

Pay Rate:

$33-$39hr

- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in warm, humid conditions.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.
