OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company's Nuclear Services & Technology team provides full service nuclear design solutions to the federal government (DOE, NNSA and NIST), nuclear research, nuclear medicine, and the commercial nuclear power industries. Merrick is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual to serve as a Program Manager to support our operations in Aiken, SC. Merrick has some very exciting projects including design of specialty equipment for the National Nuclear Security Administration and Department of Energy. With our success in winning some large, complex, and exciting projects, we need a strong Program Manager accustomed to a regulated work environment with discipline, ingenuity, motivation and skills to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers. Merrick is seeking candidates who have technical and project management experience with design and construction of nuclear/hazardous facility systems, structures and components with an emphasis on confinement of radioactive and other hazardous materials. Annual salary range for this position is $169,800 - $219,800. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO Manage and provide the A-E services for maintaining and building the nuclear and non-nuclear infrastructure (buildings, facilities, roads, water, wastewater, waste management, and utilities) that provides the foundation for the mission activities of SRS. The work scope is to manage and execute the engineering and design activities, meeting all applicable national standards, DOE, NNSA, local, and state, regulations for General Plant Projects (GPP) and Line Item (LI) construction projects under the management and control of SRS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling this work scope to the satisfaction of the tier one Prime contractor under an expected cost-plus type subcontract vehicle.
