Job Title: Practice Coordinator

Location(s): San Francisco, CA

Position Overview
The Practice Coordinator serves as the primary front-desk and patient access representative for the Physical Therapy clinic and associated lab services. This role is highly patient-facing and is responsible for delivering an excellent patient experience through efficient registration, scheduling, coordination, and communication with clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and patient-centered manner.
  • Perform patient registration, check-in, and demographic verification.
  • Schedule appointments for Physical Therapy and Lab services.
  • Manage front-desk workflows to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Coordinate closely with Physical Therapy providers and Lab staff.
  • Support patient flow and maintain a welcoming, organized waiting area.
  • Address patient inquiries and assist with service coordination as needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of administrative documentation.
Patient Volume
  • Physical Therapy: Approximately 30 patients per day.
  • Lab Services: Approximately 90-100 patients per day
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in administrative, front-desk, or customer service roles.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or patient-facing environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APeX (Epic) training strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting outpatient clinics or therapy services
Additional Details
  • Position remains at one campus for the entire assignment.
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity available, pending organizational approval.
