You will complete routine patrols across the property, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control and badge activity, and assist employees and visitors with a customer-first approach. This is a driving post, so you may also conduct mobile patrols and respond to calls for service with clear communication and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Help maintain a professional presence at an industrial manufacturing location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations as permitted by site rules.
• Control access by verifying identification, authorizing entry and/or exit, and directing visitors and drivers to designated areas.
• Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports including daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications per site procedures.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic control during shift changes and/or busy shipping and receiving periods, as assigned.
• Coordinate with site management and Allied Universal supervision regarding security-related concerns, policy updates, and special instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
