About The Role
Are you ready to advance your career in procurement? We have three exciting full-time Associate Category Buyer opportunities. This hybrid role can sit in either our Waltham MA, Syracuse NY, or Hicksville NY location. In this role, you will play a vital part in strategic procurement operations within your designated business area. Reporting to a Category Manager, you will collaborate closely with Senior Buyers and Category Managers to deliver impactful category strategies. In this dynamic position, you will support multiple strategic sourcing events within your portfolio, working alongside experienced professionals to understand and challenge demand, set sourcing strategies, and manage events from market engagement through to award. As the Associate Buyer, you will take ownership of several sourcing events, guiding them from start to finish and ensuring successful outcomes. Salary Downstate NY $70,000 - $82,000 a year Uspate NY $60,406 - $71,203 a year New England MA $65,000 - $77,000 a year National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring. For more information, please view NYC Local Law 144. This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
