Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure staff of housekeeping department cleans and maintains guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with client/guest expectations and Crescent standards of product and service. Here is what you will be doing each day as a Housekeeping Supervisor:
Does this sound like you? You possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition and can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. You can communicate well with guests and are willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. You are a leader, are comfortable with training others and understand the importance of listening with empathy and intent to your co-workers. You have working knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment along with the ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

2 - 4 years: Experience working in hospitality in the housekeeping department. Preferred as inspector or supervisory position (required)
