Your Opportunity:
Taylor Visual Impressions is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day flow of work through manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production and labor planning to efficiently produce products that meet quality standards, delivery expectations, and budget goals. The Production Supervisor works closely with cross-functional teams to meet production demands and balance workloads across the plant.

Your Shift: Monday - Thursday (4x10s), 3:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Your Responsibilities:

  • Direct and participate in process improvement initiatives using tools such as 5S and Lean manufacturing, supporting continuous improvement

  • Manage and improve department performance through effective use of the Flow and Performance (F&P) board, including creating and updating standard work and job aids

  • Promote learning and application of the 14 principles to improve production processes

  • Establish production schedules based on due dates, customer requirements, order size, component availability, and prioritization of rush jobs

  • Establish and maintain daily G7 color compliance in collaboration with the G7 manager and production operators

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy for effective production scheduling

  • Partner with management to produce and maintain reports related to trends, activities, downtime, preventive maintenance, and efficiency

  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, and safety while fostering a team-based approach and positive results in digital production

  • Coordinate with purchasing and vendors to manage material deliveries, reorder points, inventory, and supplies based on usage

  • Maintain high employee morale through effective leadership and communication

  • Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and documentation to support development and corrective actions

You Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training in digital production, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to communicate verbally and present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings

  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to read, analyze, interpret, and create correspondence and reports

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain urgency in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, follow-up, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook

We Would Also Prefer:

  • College degree

  • Extensive experience using judgment to plan and accomplish goals and manage complex situations

  • Creativity and flexibility in approach to problem solving

  • Negotiation skills and strong knowledge of digital machine capabilities and digital printing processes

  • Supplier and vendor knowledge

  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from management, customers, sales representatives, and employees
