The lab's research program lies at the emerging interface of neuroscience and cancer biology, with a particular focus on how peripheral nerves regulate tumor initiation, progression, and metastasis. We use mouse models of breast cancer, 3D organoid co-culture systems, advanced microscopy, and molecular and cell biology approaches to uncover how cancer cells co-opt neuronal signaling to promote metastatic spread. In this position, you will join a collaborative, creative, and supportive environment in which you will learn and apply cutting-edge in vivo and ex vivo cancer biology, neuroscience, and cell biology technologies under the direct guidance of Dr. Padmanaban.
