Civil Engineering Intern Westwood Professional Services, Inc. The Civil Engineering Intern will assist with engineering work related to roadway, grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, paving, cost estimating, feasibility, residential, industrial, municipal and site development projects. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment and requires a professional appearance. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to operate their personal vehicle for company business. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a temporary position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a specified duration.
