The Opportunity

The Team Lead - Airside 4.0, drives the research, development, and launch of next-generation airside solutions. You will lead a global multidisciplinary engineering team-spanning software, firmware, electronics, data engineering, and data science-to deliver breakthrough use cases that transform airport operations. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our digital transformation journey.

You will make an impact by....

• Lead and Inspire:Guide, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists across SW, FW, EE, data engineering, and data science disciplines.
• Strategic Development:Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define and prioritize Airside 4.0 use cases and technical roadmaps.
• Project Delivery:Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to productization and deployment of airside solutions.
• Innovation:Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore emerging technologies and methodologies in digitalization, IoT, AI/ML, and edge computing.
• Collaboration:Coordinate cross-functional activities with other R&D teams, product owners, and external partners to ensure successful integration and delivery.
• Technical Leadership:Provide hands-on technical guidance, code and design reviews, and ensure best practices in architecture, quality, and security.
• Continuous Improvement:Establish and monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and champion agile methodologies.
• Customer Focus:Engage with internal and external customers to gather feedback and ensure solutions deliver tangible value.

The talent we want to inspire has...

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in technology development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Proven track record in delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects (preferably in IoT, sensing, data science, and/or aviation domains).
• Strong expertise in at least two of the following: software engineering, firmware development, electronics engineering, data engineering, or data science.
• Experience with agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for innovation, digital transformation, and the aviation industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
