As a Security Officer Manufacturing Facility in Sturgis, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, assist staff and visitors with directions and information, and communicate clearly when you observe concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical support calls, disruptive persons, and facility alarms, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations per site procedures.
• Monitor and operate security-related systems such as CCTV, access control, and intrusion and fire alarm panels, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns using approved reporting methods, and escalate issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Provide assistance during emergency events by guiding evacuations, supporting lockdown procedures, and helping coordinate with local emergency responders when directed.
• Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and critical areas, reporting unsecured openings and/or suspicious activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support asset protection practices by observing for theft indicators and/or policy violations, and coordinating with management for appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain a professional presence, follow post orders and client instructions, and participate in required training and briefings provided by Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
