As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a busy retail center, you will make routine patrols across storefronts, parking areas, and common spaces, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and tenants with directions and service requests, document observations using site technology, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform unarmed patrol duties throughout retail common areas, corridors, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols on foot and/or by vehicle as assigned, adjusting patrol routes based on observed conditions and direction from site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disturbances, medical calls, and/or property damage reports.
• Monitor entrances, service corridors, and restricted areas, checking for unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or unauthorized access.
• Provide directions and general assistance to shoppers and visitors, including wayfinding to stores, amenities, and parking locations while maintaining a professional presence.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate parties, and document findings in daily activity reports.
• Assist with after-hours access control support as assigned, including verifying credentials, logging authorized entries, and/or coordinating with management.
• Support loss prevention and tenant requests as directed by site procedures, including responding to calls for service and documenting outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership, on-site personnel, and local responders as needed, using radio, phone, and written reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
