Job Description:

The Engineering Program Manager provides technical and program leadership for complex, crossfunctional product development initiatives from early concept through highvolume manufacturing. This role owns execution across the entire product lifecycle, ensuring ontime delivery, quality, cost, and manufacturability targets are met.

The Program Manager partners closely with engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to drive programs through ideation, development, NPI, ramp, and sustainment. A strong technical background is essential, enabling the Program Manager to synthesize complex technical data, guide decisionmaking, and communicate clear status and risks to executive leadership. This role demonstrates extreme ownership of the product and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Program & Product Lifecycle Leadership

  • Lead crossfunctional teams through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept ideation to transfer into highvolume manufacturing.

  • Own product deliverables, schedules, risks, and dependencies across development milestones.

  • Ensure programs meet TimetoMarket expectations by proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving issues.

CrossFunctional Execution & Influence

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance.

  • Align teams on priorities, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring accountability and focus.

  • Drive execution through influence rather than authority, motivating teams to tackle challenges as they arise.

Technical & Analytical Leadership

  • Leverage technical expertise to review and digest engineering data from labs, cleanrooms, and manufacturing environments.

  • Guide teams toward systemlevel solutions by maintaining a product "toptobottom" understanding.

  • Communicate clear, concise program status, risks, and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Drive complex programs through financial rigor, including ROI analysis, budget control, and cost management.

  • Lead FMEA activities to identify and mitigate technical, manufacturing, and supplychain risks.

  • Ensure designs and processes are optimized for manufacturability and longterm sustainment.

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Ramp

  • Own NPI ontime delivery (OTD) and quality metrics.

  • Support products through ramptovolume manufacturing, including sustaining activities.

  • Lead root cause investigations for design, manufacturing, or field quality issues.

  • Establish and run crossfunctional task forces to rapidly address critical problems and ensure timely resolution.

Pay Range:

$163,400.00 - $214,410.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $163,400.00 and $214,410.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
