About The Position The Safety Supervisor monitors, coaches and advises company personnel regarding company safety policies, procedures, and safety management systems to ensure a safe work environment. Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Preferably in Safety or related field. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred, but not required. Three years of safety-related experience required. Basic field experience in industrial hygiene including areas such as noise exposure, asbestos and/or lead abatement field experience preferred. Knowledge of utility operations and construction preferred. The Safety Supervisor works a standard work week in an office and field environment. This position requires occasional overtime (evenings) that may involve overnight travel. May also be expected to provide support during outages, storms, or other emergencies as required which may require working extended hours, weekends and holidays. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Ability to prioritize and self-direct work activities with little direct supervision and participate in a geographically dispersed team environment. Proficiency with MS Office required. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and projects to successful completion. Strong analytical, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills also required. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $84,400.00 - $130,800.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
