Purpose of the Role

The Construction Coordinator III supports Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change by coordinating construction activities that enable safe, efficient, and responsible project execution across the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, procurement, commissioning, and site execution teams, ensuring construction activities align with project objectives, sustainability goals, and customer expectations.

Operating within Worley's integrated delivery model, the role contributes to bridging today's operational needs with the transition toward more sustainable infrastructure. The Construction Coordinator III applies advanced field knowledge and sound judgment to manage complex construction interfaces, support constructability, and promote safe and environmentally responsible outcomes across the asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate construction activities in alignment with Worley's integrated project delivery approach, supporting projects from early planning through execution and completion.

  • Interface closely with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and project controls teams to ensure constructability, schedule alignment, and efficient use of resources.

  • Support planning and execution of construction work by applying practical field knowledge and understanding the reciprocal impact of construction activities on other disciplines.

  • Monitor construction progress and provide input to work planning, sequencing, and coordination to maintain project momentum and quality outcomes.

  • Promote Worley's commitment to safety, sustainability, and ethical delivery by supporting compliance with site procedures, environmental requirements, and quality standards.

  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues through application of established practices or adapted solutions based on prior experience, escalating complex matters as appropriate.

  • Assist in coordinating contractors and craft resources to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and work packages.

  • Participate in constructability reviews, risk assessments, and field walkdowns to support safe and efficient execution.

  • Communicate effectively with site leadership, project teams, and customers through reports, meetings, and informal coordination, reinforcing Worley's role as a trusted delivery partner.

  • Support the use of construction systems, processes, and digital tools, assisting with issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications / Skillset
  • Relevant technical qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent trade qualification supported by advanced training and extensive field experience.

  • Advanced practical knowledge of construction execution within energy, chemicals, and resources projects, including understanding of how construction interfaces with engineering and commissioning activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex construction scopes that require judgment, adaptability, and awareness of safety, environmental, and operational impacts.

  • Strong understanding of construction systems, work processes, and site controls, with the ability to assist others and troubleshoot field-related challenges.

  • Proven capability to work with minimal supervision while exercising sound decision-making aligned with project, customer, and organizational priorities.

  • Ability to assign tasks and provide technical or procedural guidance to construction personnel in support of common project objectives.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey construction priorities and contribute to reports, meetings, and project documentation.
