Summary of the Job: About This Role: Summer Intern Programming Support: * Support with the coordination of FNBO's Internship Program including event logistics, programming execution, and strategic preparation for ongoing initiatives. * Create and send regular communications to all summer interns about upcoming events and engagement opportunities. * Attend and promote intern programming events throughout the summer. Talent Management Program Support: * Learn about FNBO's organization as a whole and support with a variety of HR projects. * Execute projects to enhance how we execute our school partnerships (k-12). * Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business (Community Development Team, Learning & Development Team, Business Units, etc.) and in the community (school districts and non-profits) to re-imagine how we support our community and schools with Career Education. * Support relationships and commitments with school and community partners through coordinating and executing educational opportunities. * Assist with strategic planning and coordination for upcoming employee development programming. * Up to 20% of time could be spent hosting or attending engagement opportunities. Characteristics of a successful intern include: * Dedicated hard worker * Takes initiative * Critical thinker, problem solver and anticipates needs * Builds and maintains strong relationships * Adapts quickly to change * Gathers regular feedback and applies it * Works independently and seeks guidance when needed * Willing and able to participate in events at a variety of locations around Omaha, NE The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Required Qualifications: * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to adhere to overlapping timelines of completion * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications * Must be a current university student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, Liberal Arts, or similar field * Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher Desired Qualifications: * Design experience in Canva * Content design education or experience * Experience working with students grades K-12 * Event planning and public speaking experience Work Environment: Compensation and Benefits Overview: We offer a variety of benefits designed to keep you and your family physically and financially healthy.
