The Role

The Coordinator, Corporate Initiatives will serve as key member of the team within the Corporate Initiatives department, working to support efforts that enhance Suffolk's community impact, volunteer engagement and external profile. This individual will be responsible for executing Suffolk's payments processes, supporting community impact and volunteer programs and providing ad-hoc program support, as needed, to the Corporate Initiatives team.



Responsibilities

    Assist with volunteer program execution, including, but not limited to, interaction with nonprofit partners, monitoring of volunteer inbox, supporting event planning and logistics
  • Support external charitable events and sponsorship registration processes
  • Execute payment processes throughout the year for community programs (Suffolk Cares, volunteer and other external sponsorships), ensuring payments and donations arecompleted in a timely fashion and helping to track spend against budget
  • Assist team with production of annual impact report
  • Support and communicate with cross-functional teams as instructed by Corporate Initiatives Department
  • Perform additional administrative functions, including but not limited to scheduling, meeting coordination, note-taking and file management, and provide administrative support to the team as needs arise


Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of community, corporate philanthropy or related experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving processes, programs, and priorities
  • Proficient in basic administrative functions and skilled in the use of office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.

Compensation Information

The expected salary range for this position (Coordinator, Corporate Giving) in Boston, MA is between $29.3 per hour and $40.4 per hour USD. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk's total compensation package. Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Suffolk offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall compensation strategy. Salary ranges may differ by geography and are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.
