Operator I - Pilot Production (Cold Chain) Location: [Insert Location] Shift: 1st Shift \| FullTime Join a new pilot site and help build the future of Cold Chain manufacturing Why This Role Is Exciting This is a unique opportunity to join a brandnew pilot production site where innovation, learning, and teamwork are front and center. As an Operator I, you'll work alongside Senior Operators and leadership to support highperformance converting and finishing equipment in a pilot (engineeringdriven) environment. You won't just run equipment - you'll learn new processes, contribute ideas, and grow your skills as we test and refine new technologies from the ground up. What You'll Do Support Senior Operators in running and maintaining highperformance converting and finishing equipment Set up jobs by reviewing job tickets and ensuring all components are in place Operate and adjust press controls, splicers, gluers, label and Straub applicators, rotary cutters, and register systems Web up lines, adjust tension controls, and perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments Monitor quality, maintain accurate counts, and ensure production meets standards Perform cleaning and maintenance following Pregis SOPs Work safely around moving equipment and contribute to a clean, organized production floor Communicate effectively with teammates during shifts and handoffs Participate in a pilotlevel environment where problemsolving and continuous improvement are encouraged What You Bring High school diploma or GED 5-7 years of experience operating or supporting converting, finishing, or manufacturing equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to follow job instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards Willingness to learn, take coaching, and grow within a team environment Comfortable working in fastpaced production environments Work Environment Pilot manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery Heat, humidity, and noise common to production settings Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and operating equipment PPE required Why Join This Pilot Team Be part of a groundfloor launch with real learning and growth opportunities Gain exposure to cuttingedge Cold Chain equipment and processes Work closely with experienced operators and leadership Build a foundation for longterm career progression #EVT Compensation: The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis's total compensation package. The hourly base pay range for this role is estimated to be $22 to $26.
