General Summary


Manage and coordinate hourly reliability planning and control, storeroom operation and maintenance services.


Basic Qualifications:


Education: 5+ years' experience in paper industry. Bachelor of Science degree preferred.


Work Experience: Management experience. Experience at a supervisory level in a process industry. Experience to include


supervision of both salaried and hourly employees.


Skills: Broad knowledge of pulp and paper operations with experience in computer systems, material handling


and administration.


Training: Organizational development. Maintenance planning and scheduling.


Other: Strong problem-solving ability and demonstrated leadership qualities.



Essential Function: The essential functions of this position include but are limited to...



  1. Promote a safe working environment and act promptly to deal with safety issues and concerns.
  2. Communicate and implement company practices relaying to personnel policy, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
  3. Procure and coordinate maintenance contract services. Monitor yearly service agreements.
  4. Provide input for the annual repair budget and administer its documentation for inclusion in the overall operating plan.
  5. Support maintenance areas with reliability monitoring assistance and coordinate special projects.
  6. Coordinate with operating department to assemble information and activities for major mill outages.
  7. Conduct area shutdown scheduling meetings to assess activity and resource requirements.
  8. Exercise a leadership role in implementation of new technology and methods which support and improve the service functions provided by maintenance reliability.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS




  • Starting salary range for position: $94,400 through $141,600.
  • Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.


  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
