ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Public Sector East team in New England. Frequent travel (approximately 20%- 40%), including overnight stays is required. The Performance Engineer is an engineer that has exhibited outstanding performance in both project development, and the advancement of ESG ideals, thus designated as someone to emulate. As warranted, the Performance Engineer is expected to have a holistic, programmatic and strategic approach to various vertical markets or clients, and serve as the subject matter expert for applicable elements. The Performance Engineer is the primary technical project developer with in an ESG region. As the primary resource for technical expertise, Account Executives and Regional management count on Performance Engineers to be responsible for understanding the technical needs and wants of a customer, then turning that information into accurate concrete solutions. Performance Engineers may deal with technical issues that include but not limited to facility utility-consumption analysis and reduction strategies, general capital improvements, and even large-scale community infrastructure projects. The Performance Engineer is responsible for the technical strategies, the costing of projects, forecasting energy reduction for a given solution if applicable, creating a plan to measure and verify the energy reductions forecasted, presentation of findings and solutions to customers and mangers, and to assist the delivery team to ensure smooth installations and achieve exceptional results for the customer, including assessing key risk elements such as constructability, scope, costs and guarantee.
