Location: Decatur, Illinois
Schedule: Full-Time | Every Other Friday Off (Paid Wellness Day)
Salary: $70,000-$75,000 annually (based on licensure)
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (one-year commitment)

About Heritage Behavioral Health Center

Heritage is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring needs across a multicounty region. Our teams work collaboratively, emphasize traumainformed care, and are committed to compassionate, high-quality services for our community.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality, clinically sound, and person-centered care across programs. Responsibilities include:

Clinical Oversight & Documentation Review
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in mental health and substance use documentation, including review and authorization of assessments and treatment plans.
  • Verify medical necessity, treatment recommendations, and compliance with Medicaid and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor progress, evaluate service needs, and provide guidance on treatment adjustments.
Staff Supervision & Development
  • Provide strengths-based clinical supervision to staff seeking clinical licensure.
  • Support clinicians through collaborative problem-solving and coaching.
  • Offer guidance on documentation standards, assessment tools, and best practices.
Quality & Collaboration
  • Conduct case reviews to identify opportunities for engagement and improved outcomes.
  • Coordinate with treatment teams to gather additional clinical information as needed.
  • Partner with program leadership to identify training needs and improve documentation quality.
  • Participate in clinical staffing meetings and contribute to creative and effective care strategies.
What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is collaborative, supportive, and committed to clinical excellence.

Required:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Active licensure as LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
  • Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed as an LPHA
  • Minimum age 21
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
Preferred:
  • Experience supervising or mentoring clinicians
  • Knowledge of IMCANS, ASAM, and Medicaid documentation standards
  • Strong understanding of community-based behavioral health services
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, evidence-based, and strengths-based care
