Drafter (2D and 3D) Location: Buffalo Grove, IL area Contract to Hire Pay: $45 hr. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed 2D (and where applicable, 3D) drawings for ATM installations, including: Site layouts and floor plans Electrical and data routing Conduit, power, and communication diagrams Placement clearances and accessibility requirements Review site surveys, photos, and field measurements to develop accurate drawings Revise drawings based on field changes, client feedback, and permitting requirements Ensure drawings comply with ADA, local building codes, and client specifications Coordinate with project managers to meet installation timelines Maintain organized drawing files and documentation Assist with permit submittal packages as needed Support standardization of drawing templates and drafting procedures Required Qualifications 2+ years of drafting experience, preferably in construction, electrical, or low-voltage environments Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with Revit or similar software is a plus Strong understanding of floor plans, electrical symbols, and construction documentation Ability to interpret site surveys, blueprints, and technical specifications High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and time-management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with ATM installations, retail banking, kiosks, or secure equipment placement Familiarity with ADA clearance requirements and local permitting processes Experience coordinating with field technicians or installation crews Knowledge of electrical and data infrastructure Work Environment Office-based or remote drafting role Occasional coordination with field teams Fast-paced, deadline-driven project environment The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
