Hours & Pay



  • Pay Rate: $28 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-hire



What You'll Do



  • Manage the accounts receivable process from invoicing through cash application and collections.
  • Create and distribute customer invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal accounting policies.
  • Record, verify, and post payments received, including depositing check payments received by mail.
  • Perform daily customer invoicing and cash application across multiple sites and ERP platforms.
  • Match customer shipments to purchase orders and bills of lading to ensure invoicing accuracy.
  • Invoice military customers daily using Wide Area Workflow.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and actively pursue timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely payment posting.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to billing and payment activity.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute aging reports and customer statements.
  • Forecast collections and proactively follow up on payments.
  • Verify and maintain customer pricing, contractual terms, and conditions.
  • Conduct new and existing customer credit assessments.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers regarding invoicing matters.
  • Support audit requests, both internal and external.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting and special accounts receivable projects.
  • Partner with IT to support EDI invoice transmission and ongoing system improvements.
  • Maintain organized accounts receivable documentation while supporting a transition to a paperless environment.
  • Collaborate with production and supporting departments to ensure food safety and product quality standards are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



What You Bring



  • An associate degree in accounting or business is required.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; SAP Concur and Oracle experience preferred.
  • ERP implementation experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP standards and financial accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to reconcile accounts and manage detailed financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, accountability, and commitment to work quality.


Physical & Work Environment Requirements



  • Prolonged sitting with continuous computer use.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10-20 lbs as needed.
  • Casual dress code, including shorts, steel-toe footwear, and company-provided uniform, while following all GMP requirements.
