JLL seeks a Senior Transaction Analyst to provide critical support to our global transaction management teams for an Industrials portfolio. This role is instrumental in advancing operational excellence and driving continuous process enhancement while enabling Transaction Managers to focus on high-value client advisory activities and complex negotiations.

Location: Remote (Central/Eastern Time Zones Preferred)

About the Role

As a Senior Transaction Analyst at JLL, you'll be at the heart of commercial real estate deal-making, supporting complex transactions that shape the future of our clients' real estate portfolios. Working within our collaborative culture, you'll conduct comprehensive financial analysis, market research, and due diligence activities that drive informed investment decisions.

You will lead analytical support for Transaction Managers serving clients in the Industrials sector, managing operational and administrative processes related to all transaction types and multiple asset classes. As a Senior Transaction Analyst, you will demonstrate high-level competencies in executing small-scale and clearly defined transaction paths including renewals and terminations for key clients.

  • Global Portfolio Support: Lead analytical and operational support that directly enables Transaction Managers across multiple markets to deliver exceptional client outcomes
  • Process Excellence: Drive internal efficiency improvements and quality assurance protocols that elevate team performance and client confidence
  • Strategic Integration: Ensure seamless data flow and transaction coordination across JLL's global platforms and cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Operations & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain and prioritize deal pipelines, tracking critical deadlines and milestones
  • Assist Transaction Managers with financial modeling through data gathering, research, and model validation
  • Execute small-scale transactions including renewals, subleases, and terminations, assisting the clients with other ad-hoc projects
  • Conduct market research and comparable analysis to support negotiation strategies

Systems Integration & Process Improvement

  • Demonstrate proficiency with JLL's Dealio software and billing processes
  • Manage strategic data integration across client and internal lease administration platforms
  • Coordinate smooth handoffs between transaction and lease administration teams
  • Implement quality assurance protocols that maintain Transaction Manager reputation, including tracking and logging of KPI metrics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with lease administration, finance, legal, and digital teams to support Transaction Manager objectives
  • Prepare transaction summaries and client presentations that enable high-value client interactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of commercial real estate, investment banking, or financial analysis experience
  • Active Real Estate License (or obtain within first 6 to 12 months)
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JLL's Dealio software and intercompany billing processes
  • Knowledge of CoStar and other real estate analysis platforms
  • Industrial and office sector expertise
  • Commercial lease structure knowledge
  • Understanding of commercial real estate transaction lifecycle from LOI through lease execution
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities with demonstrated leadership and initiative in problem-solving

Estimated compensation for this position:

65,000.00 - 74,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
