What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at chemical and petrochemical locations.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and observe for unusual activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Document observations and report security-related incidents or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with site staff and visitors to address questions regarding access procedures and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
