Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing knowledge of healthcare protocols as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
• Support access control processes by verifying identification and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency personnel during incidents to assist with maintaining order and supporting emergency response efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
