Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Rotating schedule of two weeks on days and two weeks on nights

Hours: Between 8 and 10 hours per day

Employment Type: Direct hire, full-time

What You'll Do Day to Day

• Assist with and perform loading and unloading of barges, trucks, and rail cars while monitoring product flow and directing materials to the correct locations
• Conduct scheduled rounds and routine inspections to identify operational, environmental, or security concerns
• Document findings, report issues, and take appropriate corrective action
• Support inventory and quality control activities, including tank gauging, temperature monitoring, meter readings, sampling, and API analysis testing
• Assist with or perform basic maintenance and upkeep of terminal assets such as tanks, pipelines, valves, motors, mixers, and control panels
• Monitor and support terminal automation and overfill protection systems
• Maintain accurate facility logs, product movement orders, and over/short documentation
• Perform routine grounds maintenance to keep the facility safe and orderly
• Actively participate in and promote a strong safety and compliance culture

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document readings and activities
• Self-motivated mindset with the ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial terminal environment
• Entry-level candidates welcome; prior experience in transportation, bulk terminal operations, or petroleum-based products is a plus
• Advanced candidates may bring experience with regulatory compliance, barge operations, safety certifications, inspections, and automation systems
