Job Summary:
The General Factory Worker is responsible for performing various tasks to support the production and manufacturing processes. This includes operating machinery, assembling products, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to safety guidelines.
* Assemble, pack, and inspect products for quality assurance.
* Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues to supervisors.
* Assist in loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting is an advantage.
* Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Basic math and measurement skills.
* Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to [X] lbs.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
* Exposure to loud noises, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
