Security Officer - Utility Site Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Utility Site Patrol Driver in Homer City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout the site. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utility location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual conditions or activity that may require additional attention.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support emergency response efforts by following established procedures and coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and remain alert to potential security-related concerns throughout the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
