Job Description




    Pay is $40 per hour
  • Must be an Active Law Enforcement Officer
The Armed Off-Duty Police Officer provides a highly visible law enforcement presence inside a public building to promote safety, deter criminal activity, and ensure the well-being of employees and visitors. The officer is responsible for maintaining order, conducting regular patrols of the facility, and working cooperatively with building staff and the public in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible, armed law enforcement presence inside the public building to deter threats and enhance employee and visitor safety.
  • Conduct routine patrols and security rounds of the building, including common areas, offices, entrances, and exits.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or policy violations and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, or security concerns in accordance with law enforcement standards and departmental policy.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with building management, employees, and other security or emergency personnel.
  • Provide assistance, information, and direction to the public in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Enforce applicable laws, rules, and regulations within the scope of off-duty authority.
  • Prepare reports or documentation related to incidents or security matters as required.
