Laboratory Client Operations and Integration Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Manages and supervises the administrative function and activities for new and existing outreach laboratory operations for Bryan Medical Center. Collaborates with outside organizations by building relationships to effectively create the necessary solutions to fit their needs enabling the Laboratory to better serve our surrounding communities. Facilitates marketing plans by utilizing effective negotiating, customer service, presentation, communication, organization, and computer skill sets. Responsible for providing ongoing service and effective problem solving to the Laboratory customer base. Responsible for identifying new markets and clients and working with marketing to develop and implement new marketing plans.

Responsible for coordinating components of the outreach program including specimen processing, client services, marketing, and sales. Coordinates front end processes and client support functionality to maximize operational efficiency. Develops laboratory marketing policies and strategies, pricing strategies and market share analysis. Maintains existing and retains new business to meet budgeted revenue goals.

Specific areas of responsibility include supervision of establishing new clients, maintaining existing client relationships, onboarding, integrating, and coordinating logistics and quality benchmarks with Lab Administration colleagues.



PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.

2. *Responsible for the oversight of the client operations coordinators, directing day to day operations, with the ability to provide guidance and coaching as needed.

3. *Develops and prioritizes outreach clients to best align the needs of the organization and our clients.

4. Provides regular updates to the Lab Administration and Senior Leadership teams regarding new and existing client service changes.

5. *Collaborates with Lab Administration and Senior Management on community relationship management initiatives for outreach services.

6. *Develops information regarding the demand for products and services offered by the Lab to the marketing department to develop marketing strategies, plans and materials.

7. Manages the operational aspects of regional meetings and trade shows.

8. *Collaborates with colleagues across the functional activities of pricing, cost accounting and technical operations to determine appropriate pricing for new assays and develop new fee schedules.

9. *Responsible for the management and coordination of contracts between Bryan Medical Center Clinical Laboratory and new clients, logistics, quality and courier services.

10. *Responsible for cross-functional collaboration between departments within Bryan Health and outside vendors.

11. Works with the Analytics Team to project annual revenue growth from new and existing outreach clients based upon detailed market information and target market assessment, including gain and loss projections.

12. Establishes sales forecasting and organizational planning objectives to ensure the sale and profitability of projects, lines and services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.

13. *Maintains records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken specific to outreach clients. Ensures appropriate changes are made to resolve customer's problems and shares with Lab Administration team.

14. Recommends and maintains appropriate fiscal budget in alignment with the goals of the organization.

15. *Meets with clients, prospects, group purchasing organizations and others as needed. Coordinates activities with appropriate sales staff.

16. Identifies new markets and clients and initiates contacts with potential accounts.

17. *Oversees the laboratory budgetary procedure to ensure proper operational and capital planning, appropriate and efficient use of resources, and consistent compliance to budgetary and fiscal controls.

18. *Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, coaching, mentoring, retaining and evaluating of staff.

19. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

20. Participates in and/or leads meetings, committees, strategic planning, and lean projects as assigned.

21. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Medical Technology or related field of study. Minimum of one (1) year of project management experience required. Minimum of one (1) year supervisory or managerial experience required.

OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid State of Nebraska driver's license required. Verification and maintenance of responsible driving record per facility standards required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

(Physical Requirements are based on federal criteria and assigned by Human Resources upon review of the Principal Job Functions.)
