Works side-by-side with the home department staff to gain key insights and learning related to the inner workings of the team. Completes assigned projects and activities and assists staff as requested by the leader to increase the Intern's professional experiences and knowledge while supporting Bryan Health core values.

*Commits to the KRMC mission, vision, values and goals and consistently demonstrates our core values.

Gains industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.

*Completes assigned projects and tasks to meet required deadlines.

*Tracks progress toward project completion.

*Communicates on a level appropriate for professional interactions.

*Completes assigned tasks and duties as required for completions of internship.

Utilizes classroom experiences to enhance projects and assigned work.

Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.

Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.

Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Identifies problems with data and communicate with Controller.

Records requests given and signs off on completion.

Follows up with finance staff, provides feedback and sees problems through to resolution.

Recommends procedure modifications or improvements.

Familiarizes self with multiple software applications.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge of accounting and financial principles.

2. Skill in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Exchange-Outlook.

3. Ability to perform at a high level of efficiency, accuracy and accountability.

4. Ability to be self-motivated and have a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalency required. Must have a 2nd year standing in an Associate's degree program or at

least a Junior standing in a Bachelor's degree program. Previous experience in the assigned area preferred.
