As a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce by leading full-cycle recruitment for high-impact technical roles across North America and influencing talent strategies that support our growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for complex technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for positions such as Software Engineering, DevOps, Embedded Systems, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Architecture.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and hiring managers on workforce planning, talent market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform hiring decisions.

  • Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies to engage passive and niche technical talent using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Talent Insights, Workday, and emerging AI tools.

  • Champion diversity and inclusion by creating equitable job descriptions, outreach campaigns, and interview processes that reflect Itron's values.

  • Optimize recruitment processes for efficiency and compliance, leveraging data-driven insights to improve time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience.

  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely communication, transparency, and engagement throughout the hiring journey.

  • Leverage analytics and reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and continuously refine recruitment strategies.

  • Mentor and coach junior recruiters, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition (TA) team.

  • Collaborate on global TA initiatives, sharing best practices and supporting cross-regional hiring strategies to strengthen Itron's employer brand while fostering a team oriented culture.

  • Own TA project work and deliver measurable results, driving initiatives that enhance processes, technology adoption, and overall TA effectiveness.

  • Ownership of key TA performance metrics (KPI's) to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting, including significant experience in technical recruiting within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

  • Resourceful and proactive in overcoming challenges related to talent acquisition and market constraints.

  • Proven success in closing hard-to-fill technical roles across multiple levels (individual contributors, managers, directors).

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to build trust and drive alignment across diverse teams.

  • Deep understanding of talent market dynamics, compensation benchmarking, and workforce planning with a commitment to staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in ATS systems (Workday preferred) and recruitment analytics tools.

  • Reside within 2 hours of assigned Itron location and able to work on-site at assigned location at least one day per week.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into strategic action.

  • Experience contributing to employer branding initiatives and process improvements.

  • Advanced sourcing expertise using Boolean search, market mapping, and talent intelligence tools.

  • Familiarity with global hiring practices and compliance requirements.

Physical Demands

This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

Travel requirement 5-15%

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. Liberty Lake: The base salary range is $96,000 - $175,000
