The Operations Manager is responsible for the effective management and coordination of Medical Personnel Services across multiple U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM) locations. This role ensures compliance, efficiency, and the continuous availability of qualified medical staff to execute USMEPCOM medical assessments. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong operational oversight skills, capable of driving performance and maintaining high service standards across a geographically dispersed workforce.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Operations Manager: $80,000 - $95,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Operations Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervise and support Field-Based Providers (FBPs) and Prescreen Support Providers across all assigned field units.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels to meet mission and contract requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deployment of medical personnel.
  • Conduct workload forecasting and personnel planning to meet operational needs.
  • Streamline workflows to improve service efficiency and consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of contract staff.
  • Resolve discrepancies, performance issues, and non-compliance matters.
  • Enforce adherence to contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as liaison between headquarters, field units, and medical staff.
  • Promote collaboration among dispersed teams and maintain clear communication channels.
  • Prepare and deliver operational reports, updates, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational optimization and enhanced applicant experience.
  • Leverage data and software tools to identify trends and proactively address challenges.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage allocation of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate with logistics and administrative teams to support operational readiness.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Operations Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Master's degree in Business, Operations Management, Project Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in operations management, preferably in a multi-site or government contract environment.
  • Proven success managing diverse teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience with military or government operations.
  • Familiarity with USMEPCOM processes.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification.
  • Experience managing teams of 15 or more.
  • Remote with virtual coordination and occasional travel to field units. Operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring adaptability, problem-solving, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
